Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd kept building on her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd took her bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina, and ground-and - hit her for a TKO victory in the 2nd round. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. For a replacement last minute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
