Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her performances in a variety of types of film, television and theater. She was awarded various awards, such as her Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. Perhaps one of her representatives turned down the job on her behalf, without notifying the actress. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. She was to appear on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. At first, she turned down the part because it was too fragile. Glen then wrote her an even stronger character with Sheba. After she read the first 25 pages of the The Living Legend script, The Living Legend she accepted immediately. It lasted for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
