Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last term of junior high. She has two younger siblings and an older brother. In the years between nine and 16, her first exposure to the world of modeling was when she began modeling. The beginning of her acting career was at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was studying Sanford Meisner's methods with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock has received the identical training that was given to Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. After moving to Los Angeles, she got her first part in the Beverly Hills 90210. In the next few months, she got the role in the role of Johnny Mnemonic.
