Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress on Spanish TV and films. Her roles included films including Stockholm as well as the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for over 30 years and is also an orchestra conductor. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is a painting and a musician. After taking her first piano class at age four, she started to learn ballet. In her early years the way she spoke English was heavily influenced by a close friend in English. Following the requirements for high school, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico (Real Escuela Superior Arte Dramatico) in Madrid. She took classes in interpretation up until the third year. She specialized in interpreting texts. Her performance earned her the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress and an Goya Awards nomination in the top breakthrough actress category, among other nominations.
